As Vice President of Operations and Human Resources, Danita helps oversee the day-to-day activities of the Hurst team. She uses decades of experience in strategic planning, educational leadership and curriculum development to move the Hurst mission forward.

Danita joined the Hurst team in 2013 as Operations Coordinator before stepping up to the role of Human Resources Director in 2015 and Vice President of Operations and Human Resources in 2017. Before joining Hurst Review, Danita served as Elementary Principal for the Brookhaven, Mississippi school district for over 20 years.

Danita earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, a M.S. ED – from Jackson State University, and a certification in educational leadership from Mississippi College.
